How to Build an Ebook Landing Page with Lovable

An ebook landing page has one job, trade a short preview of the book for a visitor email address. Here is how that comes together in Lovable.

Your MissionForge guide lives inside your browser

An overlay appears directly on top of Supabase and Lovable. No tab switching, no re-reading docs.

Copy your Project URL

Find the Project URL field below and click the copy icon. We will use this in Lovable’s environment settings.

The full walkthrough
1

Describe the ebook and the email capture action

Tell Lovable what the ebook covers, who it is written for, and that visitors should enter their email to get the download. Mention the sections you want, like a hero with the cover, a short chapter preview, and an email form.

2

Submit your prompt

Press enter or click the arrow to send your prompt and let Lovable generate a first draft.

3

Review the first draft

Give it a minute to build, then scroll through the generated page and check the hero, the chapter preview, and the email form.

4

Open visual edits for the book description

Click the visual edits button, then click directly on any text block, like the chapter preview or the form heading, to rewrite it, and click save to lock each change in.

Snag: a vague first prompt gives a generic draft

The more specific you are about what the book actually covers, the closer the draft lands before you start editing.

5

Apply a theme for a bigger shift

For a change bigger than editing individual text, open the themes menu and pick one that fits, then click apply.

Snag: an edit does not land right

If something looks off after a change, open history and revert to the version before it rather than trying to manually undo it.

6

Publish your landing page

Click the publish button in the top right corner, confirm the settings that come up, then click continue.

7

Get your live link

Copy your published lovable.app link and open it in a new tab to confirm the book description and email form read correctly before you share it.

Why the topic belongs in the first prompt

Lovable builds its first draft directly from what you say the book covers, naming the actual topic and audience gets you a page that already fits the book, instead of a generic layout you rework section by section.

Visual edits versus themes on an ebook page

Visual edits are for the book specific wording, the chapter preview, the form heading, saved one at a time. Themes are for a bigger visual shift across the whole page in one click, with history as a safety net either way.

Frequently asked questions

What do I type into Lovable to start an ebook landing page?

Describe what the ebook covers, who it is written for, and that you want an email capture form as the call to action, along with the sections you want.

Do I need the finished ebook file before building the page?

No, not to build the first draft. Lovable generates a working structure and form that you can connect to the real file once it is ready.

How do I change the chapter preview or form text after Lovable generates the page?

Click the visual edits button, then click directly on the text to rewrite it, and click save to lock the change in.

What if an edit or theme does not look right?

Open history and revert to the version before that change, rather than trying to manually undo it.

How do I publish the page once it is ready?

Click the publish button in the top right corner, confirm the settings that come up, then click continue.

Best practices

Name the book topic and audience upfront

Naming what the book actually covers gets a first draft that already fits, instead of a generic download page.

Use save after every visual edit

Each text change through visual edits needs its own save to lock in before moving to the next edit.

Check the email form before sharing the live link

Open your published lovable.app link and confirm the form works and the book description reads correctly before you send it out.

The problem with video tutorials

Why people drop off before they finish

You're not the problem. The format is. Here's what changes when you switch to an interactive mission.

Traditional video tutorials
  • Pause, rewind, pause again, repeatedly
  • The UI has changed since recording
  • No feedback when you complete a step
  • Lose context every time you switch tabs
MissionForge walkthroughs
  • Live overlay, no tab switching ever
  • Always current: guides track the real UI
  • Instant confirmation at every step
  • Full context stays open in your browser
